Context
We are seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to join our project delivery team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating multidisciplinary BIM models across complex hospitality projects, ensuring the highest standards of model quality, spatial coordination, and data integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
This role is ideal for an advanced BIM professional with extensive experience working on highly congested, multi-disciplinary building projects within leading engineering consultancies or EPC contractors.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage, coordinate, and maintain multidisciplinary BIM models within the project’s Common Data Environment (CDE).
- Perform regular quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) of digital models to ensure compliance with project requirements and BIM execution plans.
- Lead multidisciplinary coordination meetings and facilitate collaboration between architectural, structural, and MEP teams.
- Execute automated clash detection using Navisworks Manage and proactively resolve coordination issues, particularly within complex and high-density ceiling spaces, corridors, and plant rooms.
- Monitor model development, coordination progress, and issue resolution throughout all project stages.
- Ensure all BIM deliverables comply with Buro Happold BIM standards, employer requirements, and project-specific data protocols.
- Coordinate model updates and ensure accurate integration of all design disciplines.
- Support the preparation of As-Built BIM models and Asset Information deliverables, including COBie compliance.
- Maintain coordination reports, issue logs, and model tracking documentation.
- Promote BIM best practices and continuous improvement across the project team.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in BIM Coordination on major infrastructure, hospitality, or large-scale building projects.
- Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary BIM models within Tier-1 engineering consultancies or EPC contractors.
- Strong understanding of BIM workflows, model coordination, and Common Data Environment (CDE) processes.
- Experience delivering projects through all design and construction phases.
Technical Skills
- Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
- Advanced experience with Navisworks Manage for clash detection and coordination.
- Strong knowledge of Autodesk BIM 360 and/or Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
- Expertise in multidisciplinary model coordination and clash resolution.
- Thorough understanding of BIM standards, data management, and information exchange processes.
- Experience delivering COBie-compliant Asset Information Models (AIM).
- Strong reporting, coordination tracking, and model management skills.
