Context
As part of the construction of a gigafactory, we are looking for an experienced Civil Engineering Supervisor to strengthen the teams responsible for monitoring the works.
Present on site on a daily basis, you will supervise civil engineering activities and ensure their proper execution, in compliance with technical requirements, deadlines, quality standards, and safety rules.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervise civil engineering works on the construction site.
- Ensure daily monitoring of work progress and the companies involved.
- Supervise activities related to piles, foundations, and concrete structures.
- Monitor the construction and assembly of prefabricated concrete elements.
- Supervise works related to steel structures.
- Check the compliance of works with plans, technical specifications, and project requirements.
- Identify deviations, anticipate blocking points, and coordinate corrective actions.
- Participate in site meetings and provide regular progress reporting.
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements on site.
- Coordinate interfaces with the various trades and project teams.
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in civil engineering and industrial construction.
- Proficiency in foundation and piling works.
- Experience with prefabricated concrete structures and elements.
- Good knowledge of steel structures.
- Proficiency in site supervision and works monitoring.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and technical documents.
- Good understanding of interfaces between the various construction packages.
Candidate Profile
- Higher technical education in civil engineering, construction, or an equivalent field.
- At least 10 years of experience in industrial construction.
- Proven experience supervising works on large-scale industrial projects.
- Strong field experience and ability to monitor several companies and activities simultaneously.
- Good level of English required to work in an international environment.
