Context
As part of projects related to the production and distribution of thermal energy, we are seeking a District Heating Network Site Manager to oversee the operational monitoring of on-site works.
The position requires a strong on-site presence and the daily coordination of contractors to ensure the proper execution of the works in compliance with quality, safety, cost, and schedule requirements.
Responsibilities & Duties
Work Supervision
• Supervise the execution of works on heat production facilities.
• Verify the compliance of completed works with drawings and technical specifications.
• Monitor work progress and the execution schedule.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements on site.
Site Coordination
• Coordinate the companies and subcontractors involved in the project.
• Organize and monitor the different phases of the works.
• Participate in site meetings and provide progress reporting.
• Identify blocking issues and propose appropriate corrective actions.
Operational Management
• Monitor site supplies and procurement requirements.
• Verify the clearance of punch-list items and the compliance of completed works.
• Participate in testing and commissioning activities.
• Ensure effective coordination between the various project stakeholders.
Required Profile
• Technical qualification such as a BTS, DUT, Professional Bachelor’s Degree, or Engineering Degree in energy, thermal engineering, HVAC, or industrial piping.
• Significant experience in construction/site management or site coordination.
• Strong field-oriented background and experience in industrial or energy environments.
• Experience with thermal installations or district heating networks is a strong asset.
