Context
As part of the construction of a Data Center in Greece, we are looking for an experienced Planner / Project Planner, at intermediate to senior level, capable of independently managing and monitoring the project schedule on site.
The assignment takes place in a demanding international environment, with strong interaction between the construction, engineering and commissioning teams. The position requires excellent proficiency in Primavera P6 / EPPM, as well as the ability to produce reliable progress monitoring and reporting for management and the client.
Main Responsibilities
- Schedule management: Develop, update and independently manage the detailed project schedule under Primavera P6 / EPPM.
- Progress monitoring: Collect and consolidate physical progress data from the various teams and regularly update the schedule.
- Variance analysis: Identify delays, deviations, constraints and impacts on key milestones, then propose appropriate corrective actions.
- Site coordination: Collaborate daily with the construction, engineering and commissioning teams to ensure schedule consistency.
- Reporting: Produce structured, reliable and actionable progress reports for management and the client.
- Forecasting: Anticipate schedule risks, analyze critical paths and contribute to securing project deadlines.
- Collaborative planning: Participate in coordination meetings and, depending on the project organization, contribute to collaborative planning initiatives.
Technical Skills
- Very good proficiency in Primavera P6 / EPPM.
- Solid experience in planning and schedule control on construction sites.
- Proficiency in physical progress monitoring and variance analysis.
- Ability to analyze the critical path, interfaces and impacts on the schedule.
- Experience in project reporting and producing reliable monitoring indicators.
- Knowledge of Collaborative Planning and/or Last Planner System methods strongly desired.
- Experience during the commissioning phase is a real advantage.
Candidate Profile
- Approximately 5 years of minimum experience in project planning, ideally in a complex construction or industrial environment.
- Proven experience in the daily use of Primavera P6 / EPPM.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a project schedule independently on site.
- Experience in international and structured project environments.
- Previous experience on Data Center projects is strongly desired.
- Professional English essential to work effectively in the project environment.
- Availability for full-time presence on site in Greece.
