Context
As part of the development of our activities on highly complex Data Center construction projects, we are looking for an experienced Planning Manager. As a true project planning reference, you will lead the development, monitoring and optimization of schedules while contributing to the structuring of planning methods and tools in an international environment.
Main Responsibilities
· Develop, maintain and optimize master schedules for complex construction projects.
· Define and monitor milestones, the critical path and key deliverables.
· Monitor project progress and produce regular analyses of variances between actual and forecast performance.
· Develop and implement corrective action plans to limit impacts on deadlines.
· Coordinate planning activities with project teams located in several countries.
· Ensure the interface with subcontractors, suppliers and clients in order to integrate their constraints into the schedules.
· Lead schedule review meetings and ensure that information is updated by all stakeholders.
· Identify schedule-related risks and proactively alert project management.
· Produce dashboards, indicators and planning reports for management.
· Standardize planning tools, templates and methodologies in order to improve project performance.
· Actively participate in the continuous improvement of processes and lessons learned.
Technical Skills
· Higher education in engineering, project management, construction or equivalent.
· Significant experience in planning construction, infrastructure or Data Center projects.
· Mandatory proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
· Excellent understanding of planning methodologies, critical path analysis and progress monitoring.
· Proficiency in project reporting tools and performance indicators.
· Experience in an international and multicultural environment.
Candidate Profile
· Confirmed experience as a Planning Manager or Senior Planner on complex industrial projects.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex data to stakeholders.
· High level of autonomy and ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
· Fluent English essential; proficiency in French is an asset.
· Availability for frequent travel throughout Europe.
