Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Control Manager to oversee the planning, monitoring, and control of major construction and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with the required quality standards. This role requires close collaboration with project managers, engineering teams, site personnel, and stakeholders to provide effective project controls throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules and execution plans.
- Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and manage project cost estimates, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analyses.
- Implement and maintain project control systems, procedures, and reporting tools.
- Track project performance using key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct schedule analysis, progress measurement, and earned value assessments.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, procurement, and construction personnel to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients.
- Identify project risks related to schedule and cost, and support the development of mitigation plans.
- Review project deliverables to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, quality standards, and company procedures.
- Support change management processes by evaluating the cost and schedule impact of variations.
- Utilize advanced reporting and data visualization tools to provide accurate project performance insights.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project planning, project controls, and cost control within the construction and infrastructure sector.
- Strong knowledge of project planning methodologies and cost management principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Experience using project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
