Context
As part of the development of public lighting and outdoor electrical infrastructure projects, we are seeking a Public Lighting Project Manager capable of managing projects from the preparation phase through to final delivery.
As the key project lead, you will be responsible for developing and managing your portfolio of projects while ensuring customer satisfaction, the financial performance of the projects, and the coordination of teams in compliance with quality, safety, cost, and schedule objectives.
Responsibilities & Duties
Business Development & Project Management
- Develop and manage a portfolio of public lighting projects.
- Analyze customer needs and propose appropriate technical solutions.
- Participate in tender submissions and bid consultations.
- Prepare technical and financial proposals.
- Ensure the contractual and financial management of projects.
Project Management
- Organize, plan, and supervise the different phases of projects.
- Ensure compliance with cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
- Monitor performance indicators and project profitability.
- Identify project risks and implement the necessary corrective actions.
Construction Coordination
- Lead and support site managers and operational teams.
- Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Participate in site meetings and monitor project progress.
- Ensure the proper technical execution of the works through final acceptance.
Customer Relations & Business Development
- Act as the interface with local authorities, clients, and partners.
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with contracting authorities and clients.
- Identify new business development opportunities.
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Profile Required
- Bachelor’s to Master’s degree (Bachelor’s +3 to +5 equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnics, Public Works, or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Business Manager in public lighting or outdoor electrical networks.
- Good knowledge of public procurement and infrastructure projects.
- Experience in project management and team leadership.
- Strong financial and contractual management skills.
